5w Uhf CB Radio Antenna? - uhf cb antenna

Hello, I have a 5W UHF CB radio, the maximum frequency you can do is something like 480,000, I wondered how it could be that my more than 500,000 people, a 350 - thats 520MHz antenna help me get Over 500,000

It will shorten the rod, the frequency that is inaudible to increase. A simple quarter-wave whip is resonant at 500 MHz to 5.6 "long. If the antenna is based on 480MHz only necessary to cut a 1 / 4 inch above the center at 500 MHz. Of course, this does not alter the ability the radio itself. If it is not intended to operate at a higher frequency, then it could be modified to reach you. In the states it is illegal, except for amateur radio use. In addition, most of the places we need a license in order to be operating in those frequencies, and only in licensed frequencies. Of course, if you listen to music, not spread, it is no problem.

No. .. I though to extend or shorten the loading coil whip antenna to resonance at about 27 MHz .. Thats where Christ is. (11 meters) Even if an RF amplifier (linear), the majority of the antenna is not on the market take care of a maximum of 500W to take.

If 480MHz is the upper end of the issuer, then you can not to transfer, or hear something more. However, if you have a band RX receiver, then a multi-band Discone is what you need.
